Starting my New Life as an Agatha Christie Influencer (?)

This September, it's felt like I've been touched by some kind of Spirit of the Golden Era Whodunnit. Every significant happening is very classic mystery-adjacent!
Being a Guest at an English Country House
I'm still scribbling away at notes for my Next Video Game (tm). I felt that what I really needed to do was to get away somewhere isolated and quiet to really knuckle down and do some planning. Where better than staying for a few nights in an isolated country house?
I met a bishop and a group of expert quilters. Sadly nobody fell victim to murder, blackmail or theft for the duration of my visit.
I think I managed to work out 'whodunnit', now I just need to work out 'howsolveit' and 'howmakegameofit'!
A few days before I left on my country house retreat, I got a slightly surreal email inviting me to review a new Death on the Nile video game, and giving me a free copy ahead of its release.
This is the kind of thing which makes me utterly delighted at the shape my life has taken over the past few years. I am ready to fully embrace my new life as an Agathachristinfluencer.
TL;DR, Based on the first few chapters which I've played so far, it's a very fun deduction video game with slick mystery solving game mechanics, although diehard Poirot purists might not like some of the creative choices.
I also took some time this month to realise a project that I've had in mind for a long time, which is to make my own binding of Wilkie Collins' The Moonstone. If you're not familiar, The Moonstone written in 1868 is often argued to be the origin of the 'country house' mystery story. I've wanted a nice copy of it for a while, and since I couldn't find one I liked and bookbinding is my big non-computer-based hobby, I... made one! It uses illustrations by WIlliam Sharp from 1946.
